To be fair, I'm not that hard core. I was drinking a "martini" made with Jack and blackberry brandy. They called it a Blackberry Jack. It was strong but good. Made me think of something Hunter Thompson would think up at 4am on a Tuesday morning while bored.

What in hell is a sparks? I keep hearing people talking about them.

Party tonic for emo kids: Because pouring energy drink into your Pabst Blue Ribbon just didn’t taste right.

Yes, even whiney, bitchy emo kids enjoy getting crunked up. Just like every other subculture of our generation, the best way to get fucked is to combine caffeine with alcohol for maximum potency and “stay up late” potential. Looking like Peter Parker in Spiderman 3, these “I’m not cheesy enough to be goth, nor am I smart enough to be hipster” will likely look with disdain at your Red Bull/Vodka. That’s way too mainstream. Sparks fits their lifestyle better because it’s more “alternative”… and by alternative I mean tastes like shit.

But hey, Sparks is the perfect pre-gaming drink for your average emo party – which largely consists of crying, self-loathing, and cutting oneself.

About to get myself murdered in the Off-topic forum on thedaftclub.

Everyone keeps on posting stupid threads and basically posting the words to lyrics of DP songs.
(Someone even doing Around the World.)

So now I just made a thread to do This Charming Man.
:)

I'm also waiting for this stupid moron to reply back to my post. The idiot went into my cat thread and said, "I don't like cats." when I SAID in the first post - if you don't like cats then GTFO.
but then she got her nose out of a joint and
A) posted a picture of a dead cat (WTF)
B) PMed some of my friends.
C) and was generally being an idiot.

so I replied back to her on the cat thread. :) Everyone apparently liked my reply.

You can't always except Mr. Morrissey to lift his shirt.
Besides he was wearing a jacket that was buttoned up, so
he must have been feeling a bit shy....
oh shit hang on are we talking about that new film clip on the front
of site....

I'm waiting for my son to come home. His friend just rang and said
they were on their way and then my son's Dad came to the door
and said why didn't they wait for him to pick them up, but
he's half an hour late.....
my son's gonna be in a bad mood because it's very cold,
plus I could have picked them up anyways....
oh whatever....

Renia

yea! The pelvic thrust...oh god...! It was reminiscient of young Moz in my eyes.

If he had lifted up his shirt...I don't think I'd be able to type. The blood rushing to my face would cause me to pass out. My dad would come in the morning to wake me up only to find me half dead on the floor due to shock.

edit: then again he finds me half dead in my bed anyway every morning, but that's due to lack of sleep. He usually takes two trips to my room to make sure I'm up, (and usually I am, although it takes me telling myself, "he's gonna come back, there's no point in sleeping more.")

thanks for asking, I was mouthing off a bit in the bad mood thread about it, basically we had a bit of a twit lad living in the next floor up, he got the flat through a help project, so he has some issues, but the thing is he is constantly noisy and there seems to be loads of trouble, last weekend he had a fight in the close frightening my 8 year old and me if the truth be told. I actually opened the door my bf was mad cause they really are a rough lot.
The housing wont do anything without police reports and its annoying! why give these half wits the time of day, but no they get flats and rent paid stuff like that.

Sounds like a nightmare and it's even worse when you have kids around. You just wish that people could be more decent and be a bit more sensitive towards other people. Is there anything you can do? Or will the Housing Department do anything about it?

i can't wait! haven't had one in about 8 years. the last time i had a fray bentos pie, i got it 'cause i hadn't had one since i was small and it was really difficult to open (that's probably why i haven't had one since). anyway, i'm looking forward to it.

And are the police helping you out? Did the guy get the flat through a Charity or something? Maybe you could find out whether he's got a Support Worker or something and maybe you could speak to them to speak to him?

You shouldn't have to put up with this crap but i don't think these people appreciate the hassle that people have to live with..(

Angst for bloody telephone company because I spent two hours on the phone this morning because my internet wouldn't work,
luckily my son got out of bed and got the thing working again.
I haven't been able to use the pc all week, too much schoolwork
from my course......
So now I'm using it(obviously) but now I have to go and do food shopping.
Oh, it's mothers day tomorrow and I did want a Morrissey t shirt, but
alas I still haven't found one that I like.
Apart from that I'm fine but trying to decide whether to just get my hair
cut on Monday or get tips as well.......:guitar:

I just got home about an hour ago (I'm dog-sitting this weekend). I went to see Radiohead last night. They were fabulous! One of the ladies that went with us is related to Phil's wife Kate. After the show, we were able to go and hang out on their bus for about an hour. They were incredibly nice and Kate is so sweet! We didn't get to meet any of the others but I've met Thom and Ed in the past. Since it was the family bus, I won't say anything more. Here is a picture of my pass.

This afternoon, I went to an audition for the stage cast for The Rocky Horror Picture Show and ended up singing "The Time Warp." I had just rolled out of bed about a half-hour before and I'm sure I made a total ass of myself. :D

I'm hoping that I don't get a call-back. :o

I'd rather watch the movie than act in front of it.

Exciting times. :p

50m, 100m, 400m relay, and shot put.
It's kind of funny that he loves shot put, he's the smallest kid out there! :)
Too bad there isn't a formula for track events that calculates distance in relation to weight!

He did real well. He ran his "personal best" in each event...placed third in his heats, but it was a state wide meet, so he didn't qualify for the finals individually. The finals, along with his relay race are Wednesday night.
He is excited...his relay team always does real well.

Ok, so as it turns out I really am a superstar wife. I just got my H for his 40th bday a signed (by the photographer Bob Gruen) and framed and oh-so-fabulous live Clash photo from 1979 (Corrissey, eat your heart out). Take a look ...

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb9/doney86/R-104Clash_Gruen-1.jpg

I just discovered the Morrison Hotel Gallery in LA (there are a few in NYC and one in La Jolla (random) as well). The one in LA has a mouth-watering collection of rock photography. I could do some serious, and I mean SERIOUS damage in this place.

For instance, what caught my eye in the gallery window about a month or so ago when I was driving by and stuck at the light was this gem.

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb9/doney86/raygun3.jpg

As enticing as that one is, I'm first saving up my quarters for this one (and it's gonna take a while).

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb9/doney86/MarcBolan_40mg-1.jpg

I COULD NOT stop drooling over this picture. I mean, Marc Bolan, are you SERIOUS!?!? :horny: It just doesn't get hotter than this photo. Hands down! This WILL be hanging on my wall in the next 6 months. Of that I'm certain.

If you're interested, please take a look at their website. Use the search function to find a certain artist. Otherwise I find their website a bit cumbersome to navigate.

Enjoy! And cheers ... I'm having me a well-deserved tequila shot right now. :D
