Complete Picture LD what is it worth?

The Japanese "Complete Picture" Laserdisc, what would you pay for it? Is it as rare as I think? (only noticed once a time on ebay)


and yes, I got a (two) LD-Player, so I would be able to watch it ;)

Still wondering that HMV got a stock of them available. Where could you get Laserdisc at mayorstores nowadays? Maybe it out of stock? Unfortunately a picture is missing too :(

You must understand the laserdisc is a dead format, just like VHS or audio cassettes. They still have some value, but not much.

You ask "Where could you get Laserdisc at mayorstores nowadays?" Nowhere, probably. And there's a reason. Because nobody wants one. I have 3 or 4 Smiths/Moz laserdiscs, but don't really anticipate them being worth a whole lot.

Well i know the value of Laserdiscs nowadays, otherwise especially Japanese LDs are very nice to collect and noone really buys a "Complete Picture" LD for watching ;) I love LDs, not only that Iam able to play them, but in Germany they where all times rare and its a funny and obscure item to collect in my opinion. Little bit antique, sure, but so is Vinyl too (and for that really expensive).
I also would spend a lot of money for a Rank DAT, even if I can't play it.
Maybe you have another relationship to LDs and thats the reason you think different about them, anyway...

So I think 20-30€ is a really bargain for the LD (my personal feeling) I think about buying this one, especially the shop comes from germany...

btw: The question about the "Mayorstores" was a rhetorical one, and only underlines my confusing about the HMV link...

ah, and at least... have you got a good japanese store for cd/dvd to recommend me? It looks like you are familliar with Internet sources ;) thx
