Why would a moderator ask people not to post on a thread?
The thread in question was uncontroversial, and was revived because a question had been left unanswered.
Not that reviving a thread requires an explanation.
Was it more about the personal bias of the moderator?
Are they now allowed to decide which threads people should contribute to depending upon if they like the poster?
Very worrying.

Oh right. Thanks for your wisdom.
On a different matter, can I ask about your signature thing?
If people are not allowed to profit off Morrissey, where does that leave his band, record company (when he has one), the bloke driving the CDs to the shops, the magazines with interviews etc., ticket printers, venue staff, etc?

We shouldn't really discuss this here, but let me get this straight.
Unless you are employed by Morrissey's record company you cannot profit from his work?
Keep in mind that, when Moz has a record label, this excludes 95% of the people who earn money from Morrissey.

My position is that if someone records a Morrissey concert and/or decides to put together a compilation of Morrissey songs UNAUTHORIZED and decides to profit off ot it...I don't approve of it..
But it's just my opinion..and I won't make an argument out of it

I'm not saying I disagree, I just wanted clarification of your opinion.

As I said my opinion...I'm not going to go off and start bashing people if they do...I just make it part of my tagline because it's how I feel and it's pointless to repeat myself everytime someone comes along and wants to sell/trade an unathroized recording when this site is famous for it's sharing attitude..we don't live in the dark ages anymore where the only way to get a recording out is to mail copies to people across the country....nor do we need to go to the local record shop and have to ask what's under the case and slip the shopkeeper a $50 bill
