I like this idea too :) although there might not be enough events to write something which happened on every day of the year.

That's a very good idea, but I agree with Amy, there might not be enough information for every single day.:(

for that there is the solution of "On this day in Morrissey History...nothing happened"
or "On this day in Morrissey history Morrissey had a bowel movement"

I love this idea! Even if there may not be enough events for everyday of the year, no problemo. I still love the idea!

I still wish their were highlights of the Smiths Court Case we could refer to...
IE:When Morrissey holds up the copy of The Severed Alliance to argue that he and Johnny WERE The Smiths...

He bought some bread, humous, 3 red peppers and asparagus.'

Can we vote to ban any future mention of that film on this site?
I went to see because Terrence Stamp was it in (Hey, Morrissey likes him...it's got to be a good British movie)....and I walked out after 8 minutes

Really? I liked that movie. Was thinking of watching it tonight, actually. Have you seen The Limey?

on this day in...
1987
The Strangeways riot (the prequil to the 1990 one) gave rise to the soon to be released Smiths l.p. "Strangeways Here We Come", Morrissey had originally titled it "When I Nod Me Head, You Hit It!", apparently he'd spent several Sunday afternoons at his local B&Q chewing a pencil behind his ear but no truth is to be found in the fact that he was after an ivory/pearl bathroom suite & 27 rolls of anaglypta.

Great idea. Who is going to compile it, check it and maintain it?
