As best as I can decipher them. The time cues are from the boot posted by Koffinjoe (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=533647&postcount=16):
Fire up those headphones and let's collectively fill in the blanks! (Unless someone has already posted them; I can't find 'em.)
UPDATE: I'll edit this post whenever somebody posts a reasonable correction. Click on the hyperlinked words to jump to the post where the suggestion was made.
[0:56]
You ? groan
and you constantly moan
but you don't ever go away.
That's because all you need is me.
[1:09]
You roll your eyes, look to the skies ???
Good luck, you're still here. (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=534065&postcount=16)
All you need is me.
[1:23]
(chorus)
There's so much destruction
all over the world,
and all you can do is complain about me.
[1:35]
You bang your head against the wall
and say you're sick of it all--
except for me.
All you need is me.
[1:51]
And you offer your one and only joke,
and you ask me "what will i be
when i grow up to be a man?"
[2:09]
There's a soft voice singing in your head--
Who could this be?
I do believe it's me
[2:22]
There's a naked man standing laughing in your dreams (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=533848&postcount=10).
You know who it is,
but you don't like what it means.
[2:38]
There's so much destruction
all over the world
and all you can do is complain about me.
[2:50]
When i was a small fat (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=533848&postcount=10) child in a council house
there was only one thing i ever dreamed about
a big fat ? of happiness to me
[3:17]
You don't like me but you love me;
either way you're wrong.
You're gonna miss me when i'm gone,
you're gonna miss me when i'm gone.
[3:30]
You don't like me but you love me;
either way so long (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=534065&postcount=16).
You're gonna miss me when i'm gone,
you're gonna miss me when i'm gone.

At first I thought he was writing to/about his fans, or those fans who complain and bitch and moan about him but still can't seem to live without him.
But actually it sounds more like he's in a relationship with another man. Assuming it's an autobiographical song, that is.

And you offer your one and only joke,
and you ask me "what will i be
when i grow up to be a man?"
The "joke" angle would be more apt if this was being said by a woman. Just another option to throw out there. :p
[Not saying I think I know what he means by that line at all, just going off on tangents...]

I could have misinterpreted the quotation; it could be
"you ask me what will i (e.g. Morrissey) be
when i (Morrissey) grow up to be a man?"

Yes, that too. So many options, he truly does give nothing away sometimes despite appearing to. ;)
By the way, thanks so much for transcribing the lyrics!! I can't make out half of them myself.

I was at the show and it sounded like he sang "...laughing in your DREAMS".
Also, I belive it was "I was a small FAT child..."
I could be wrong though but that's what these ears heard.

jeesh....I`ve been a fan since 1984......but if his new album is going to full of more sexually ambiguous meanings I don`t really know if I can take it.
To be honest I`m fed up with the "is he,isn`t he batting for the other team "?debate and it seems to me if this is truly his latest offering then he is indeed adding to all the speculation.
Sure I want to hear about love and all that is real, but I cannot take ANY more explosive kegs or naked men anymore.I`m very disgruntled this evening and wish I`d not read these lyrics.Maybe my interpretation of them is wrong.
I realise he is never going to come out and say he`s straight or gay and that is absolutely his right and if we as nosey parkers wish to discuss it thats our lookout.....but I don`t want more of these lyrics if he isn`t going to speak up and put the whole thing to bed(metaphorically speaking ofcourse!!):(

ah...now we see why he was so interested in inviting internetters to come see the show.
he can't really complain much these days, can he? since the new board has been put in place, we can safely say that the "morrissey is an old fat fart" comments are now posted by one or two anonymous people who cause trouble on the news item comments section.

I thought that was quite good, and I look forward to hearing it performed tomorrow night in Stockton (tomorrow, my God!).
And I I can't quite understand complaining that he's taunting with "is he or isn't he" - it's primarily a song about a relationship, after all.

I've had a listen and what I hear at 1:09 is this -
You roll your eyes look to the skies ???
Good luck, you're still here, all you need is me.
However hard I listen and re-eq this I can't make out the line where the question marks are, any ideas anyone?
At 1:35 it sounds to me like "You bang your head against the wall and say you're sick of it all, you're kidding/killing? me.""
Then at 2:22 I'm sure he sings "There's a naked man laughing in your dreams."
Then at 3:30 "You don't like but you love me, either way so long, So are you gonna miss me when I'm gone? You're gonna miss me when I am gone."
This is my best guess anyway.......

No, but you got more than I did. I'll edit the original.
At 1:35 it sounds to me like "You bang your head against the wall and say you're sick of it all, you're kidding/killing? me.""
But does "kidding"/"killing" make sense there?
Then at 2:22 I'm sure he sings "There's a naked man laughing in your dreams."
Already made the "dreams" change (see edited OP); you don't hear "standing" before "laughing"?
Then at 3:30 "You don't like but you love me, either way so long, So are you gonna miss me when I'm gone? You're gonna miss me when I am gone."
I lifted the last two stanzas from a poster elsewhere who was at the concert, but of course I can't find the original post to back myself up. :(

Can't do the multiquote thing so this might be a little unclear, I do hear standing before the word laughing I just forgot to type it. I know what you mean about the kidding/killing thing, you're right it doesn't make much sense.
This thread is great by the way, you did a great job on getting the most of the lyrics down for us to pick through, thankyou :D
It's getting there, I don't want to pass judgment on the lyrics untill we know for sure what they all are, one line that we're missing or even one word could change it's meaning completely if you can see what I'm saying. I like the tune though, it's a catchy one, I love the vocal melody.
Lets hope some kind soul manages to get a nicer recording on one of the upcoming dates.
p.s. I can't find where the person first posted the song but if you're reading thanks for the upload :D

Would he write something in order to see how far we internetters can crawl up our own arses trying to work out what it "means"?
Nah, I don't think he'd be bothered..

Maybe the lyrics are deliberately incorrect. The security guards at concerts will be trained to look for audience members who can sing along to the new songs, and will know that those folks are illegally downloading bootlegs! :)

But on a recent interview he said he doesn't visit internet forums to see what people think and to allow yourself to be led by the audience is a big mistake.
I really don't believe that what we rattle on about has any influence on what is written or how or when delivered. (Though he may get feedback from people who pass on what they've seen here.)
Morrissey will maintain his audience by continuing to write and sing songs to a high standard. Why would he want the opinion on that from a bunch of people who couldn't write a hit song if their life depended on it?

you think that his reading what is said here is akin to getting their opinion so he can change up his set list. i don't think that's the case at all.
all i know is that when Julia is booed, he claims its the internetters. how would he know that? Do you think that any of Morrissey's friends say "that poor Julia is getting picked on by the people on the internet"? i personally dont think most of those people would care one way or the other if Julia burst into flames tomorrow. really. maybe half of them would be relieved because they think she's weird and the other half would think "goodie! now that Julia's gone, i can move into her spot!"
if someone started picking on you tomorrow, do you think that morrissey's friends would run and report it to him? of course not! what i'm suggesting is that people who have the means to advocate on their own behalf are also going to throw in a few "and do you know what they also said about YOU? They said you were old and fat!" just to ensure that the free entrance to shows and emails continue. i don't care if morrissey doesn't feel personally compelled to come here. people with an agenda are going to make sure of every nasty thing that is said is going to be reported in full and gruesome detail.
and how about the numerous threats of lawsuits and letters Davidt was receiving from Morrissey? as i said, if it's not him, it's somebody who has a reason to care.

Hmmmm, interesting argument, Suzanne.
In the end you can trust only your own ears,
not what someone said what someone said.
I wonder when so many people behave unnaturally around M due to being tongue-tied with awe, or wanting to stay close for personal advantage, or to keep the show rolling.
And how keeping the company of a few genuine friends who tell it as it is, is of the greatest importance not just to M but for all of us....

I agree; I came to that conclusion immediately. The line that confirmed it: "There’s a soft voice singing in your head/Who could it be?/I do believe it’s me".
And the line about: "There’s naked man standing, laughing in your dreams/You know who it is, but you don’t like what it means", is a typical display of cheeky arrogance on Mozzer's part; there are plenty of us who admit to fancying him, but then there are those that go on websites specifically to slag him off and be disparaging about him (there are even those who shout nasty remarks at gigs) and here, he's talking about reverse psychology, the first law of the playground (those that pick on you are either jealous or they fancy you); they only insult him because they can't handle the fact that they're attracted to him, especially the loutish blokes. I'm sure we've all seen it, the guys who shout 'fat bastard' or 'wanker' or 'puff' for no apparent reason, then will fight to the death over his shirt. I'm not saying it's true of all the fans who turn on him every now and again, for instance some are just angry that he's recorded a song or album they don't like; for these the line: "There’s so much destruction all over the world/And all you can do is complain about me" holds true; why do people get so wound up about a song or a celebrity, when it's trivial in comparison to war, genocide, torture, etc?
But on a recent interview he said he doesn't visit internet forums to see what people think and to allow yourself to be led by the audience is a big mistake.
I really don't believe that what we rattle on about has any influence on what is written or how or when delivered. (Though he may get feedback from people who pass on what they've seen here.)
Morrissey will maintain his audience by continuing to write and sing songs to a high standard. Why would he want the opinion on that from a bunch of people who couldn't write a hit song if their life depended on it?
But he always reads his letters, at least he used to; who's to say that this song isn't a response to a particular, poisonous letter, or (as I said above) the comments thrown out by audiences? Plenty of authors throughout history have read reviews and respond in this fashion. He's not exactly being led by the audience (none of their suggestions are in this song) he's simply been influenced to reiterate some of the sentiment behind 'If You Don't Like Me, Don't Look At Me'.
It's a brave move, critiquing your critics, because some fans only criticise out of love and/or disappointment; the fact that sometimes, he can't live up to the ideal we construct in our heads. But, the next time I get annoyed at his choice of single, or support act, or comment (which I must admit, is very rare, because I think the world of him) I'll hear Mozzer, telling me to wise up and stick a sock in it.
And the last lines ring so true, even the people that hate him will miss him when he's gone. A Morrissey-free world doesn't really bear thinking about.

He's watching us.
i'm sure if the truth came out, you'd find morrissey doesn't like us, but he loves us as well...

All You Need Is Us - Morrissey-SoLow
You sing and groan
and you constantly moan
but you don't ever go away.
That's because all you need is us.
You roll your eyes
up to the skies
one more time
but you're still here
'cos all you need is us.
There's so much destruction
all over the world,
and all you can do is to sing about us.
You bang your head against the wall
and say you're sick of it all
yet, you remain here
because all you need is us.
And then you offer your
one and only joke
and ask us
"what will you be, when Internet is down"?
NOTHING
There's a new txt
coming to your screen
Who could this be?
We do believe it's us.
There's a crazy crowd standing
screaming by the scene.
You hear what we say,
but you don't like what it means.
There's so much destruction
all over the world
and all you can do is to sing about us.
We all were small fat kids
in a council house
there was only one thing
We ever dreamed about
fate has just handed it to us
AT LAST
You don't like us but you love us;
either way you're wrong.
You're gonna miss us when we're gone,
you're gonna miss us when we're gone.
You don't like us but you love us;
either way you're wrong.
You're gonna miss us when we're gone,
you're gonna miss us when we're gone.

ha ha
"you pretend you don't read
then you send a cease and desist to david T
within 5 minutes of the offending message
could we be that egregious?
no! all you need is us.
you could be doing a hot Italian when you're in Rome
But you're on the computer, complaining about me...
you read my tomes
pass the lyrics off as your own
and Julia's the one that get's free tickets?
Because you can't admit..all you need is us"

However hard I listen and re-eq this I can't make out the line where the question marks are, any ideas anyone?
In the unlikely event this hasn't already been cleared up long ago, live Morrissey sings "You rolls your eyes up to the sky, mock horrified' - or at least he did on the 4 times I saw him...

I heard this song for the first time recently, when Carson Daly ran a rerun of it it being performed on his show.
It was perfectly obvious Morrissey was singing about me.
So...he does read this board afterall. Yikes.

You roll your eyes, look to the skies ???
Good luck, you're still here. (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=534065&postcount=16)
All you need is me.

(chorus)
There's so much destruction
all over the world,
and all you can do is complain about me.
[1:35]
You bang your head against the wall
and say you're sick of it all--
except for me.
All you need is me.
[1:51]
And you offer your one and only joke,
and you ask me "what will i be
when i grow up to be a man?"
[2:09]
There's a soft voice singing in your head--
Who could this be?
I do believe it's me
[2:22]
There's a naked man standing laughing in your dreams (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=533848&postcount=10).
You know who it is,
but you don't like what it means.
[2:38]
There's so much destruction
all over the world
and all you can do is complain about me.
[2:50]
When i was a small fat (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=533848&postcount=10) child in a council house
there was only one thing i ever dreamed about
a big fat ? of happiness to me

You don't like me but you love me;
either way you're wrong.
You're gonna miss me when i'm gone,
you're gonna miss me when i'm gone.

I just found a Timi Yuro song on youtube called 'All I Need is You' here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5337Xy58mMw it's the second song in the video and at about 2:40 if you fancy having a listen.
I know Morrissey has mentioned her in interviews quite a few times. Do you think the title 'All you Need is Me' is a reference or just a coincidence?

He did not only mention Timi Yuro, he also covered Interlude ... so I don't think there is any coincidence there

You ? groan
is 'you hiss and groan'
and then later in that piece it's:
'And that's because all you need is me'
(ok seems picky but in the lyrics in the main post there is no 'and')
you roll your eyes UP to the skies, my heart(or hard?) fight?
but you're still here
all you need is me
You bang your head against the wall
and say you're sick of it all--
yet you remain
Cause all you need is me.
And you offer your one and only joke,
and you ask me "what will i be
when i grow up to be a manLY NOTHING?"
There's a soft voice singing in your head--
Who can this be?
I do believe it's me
i was a small fat child in a welfare house
there was only one thing i ever dreamed about
Fate has just handed it to me. (he throws in a who dee kind of word)
it's like I've heard a very different version of the song
mine is shorter as well for some reason :P

I thought about this song yesterday waiting in line at an amusement park. They had screens keeping us entertained with skateboarders eating it and flying through the air. I thought, 'Where's the drum kit?" It made me smile.
