I know!!!!!!!!! He was filming his stupid tv show or something, he twittered away about it for ages, bet he was kicking himself...

well I hope it was hard, its a rather big betrayal missing that gig, I mean I bet Morrissey increased his security and everything.

I know! I thought it was really rude, if it was me I'd have had a big hissy fit about the filming running over and demanded to be taken to the gig :D

well. It's not quite the way it sounds, I have to admit! (after all, I am married! ;) ).

I've been and seen Noel do stand up a few times, and he was playing our local comedy night. We were in the front row (again) and we joined in with good spirits, I even helped him out of a joked he'd got stuck on! Anyway, after the show, my best friend wanted to talk to him, as we'd seen him the year before (in the front row, again :D ) and it had been filmed, with my best friend being in a substantial amount of it due to the fact she had drunk her own body weight in cider before the show, and she was hoping to get a copy of the footage. However, she was very, very ill at the time and had to go home after the show, so asked me to stay and ask him. So, I qued up, feeling like a saddo, and explained the whole situation (very long winded and quite sad, I won't bore you with the details. He was so, so lovely! He gave me the hugest hug and kiss after I'd explained, and was very lovely about the whole thing (sadly, I don't fancy him. Julian on the other hand...)

Oh yeah, the age..well, I think he might have been a bit economical with the truth about that!

Charlie is genius, right, he's made from a million old pieces of bubble gum. Imagine that. In the summer of 1976 on the way home from an Alice Cooper concert, Charlie started to melt on the pavement. It was too hot in L.A and he melted, like a pink bitch. Luckily though, there was Eric Phillips, a local crocodile who dabbled in black magic. He took pity on Charlie, and scraped him off the floor with a pair of fish slicers. He poured him into an antique soup ladel, and boarded his magic carpet, destination, Alaska. Eric Phillips decided to refreeze Charlie, but in his cold blooded reptilian haste, he refroze him into the shape of a hoover. Charlie wasn't phased though, he just zoomed about the place, sucking up Inuits. The Inuits didn't mind. They loved it in Charlie's big tight warm belly pouch, and they refused to come out. Charlie said, "I'm cool with that," and set fire to a posh hammer to make it official. The downside was that the Inuits suffocated imediately. It was air-tight in there. Charlie panicked, and fired the tiny Inuit bullets into to Eric's crocodile peepers. The green shape, was frozen. After a quick drink, Charlie stole Eric Phillip's magic carpet, and left for Seattle. Charlie was racked with guilt. He'd killed 50 Inuits, no one needs that. He decided to spend the rest of his life putting small hairstyles onto boots, monkey nuts, trumpets, and spanners.

oh good o, i will cheers sir!

You're welcome :)

Me and this guy at work was doing that, he likes Tony harrison and Old Gregg. I think we spent a day or two when we walked past each saying "it's an Outrage" and "you love old gregg".
This chap is in bands and in the trendy london band scene. So he has meet Julian, but this was a while ago he was telling me, he didn't know who he was...he didn't realise. Until he saw the program afterwards ( i think this around the 1st series) It was at mutual friends gig, he just thought it just a nice guy to chat to. He saw him a couple of weeks ago too.

Tony Harrison is probably one of the only impressions I can do, so I've had much fun with "This is an outrage" and "Saboo you slaaaag" :D

I've seen Julian a couple of times also, I may have mentioned that once or twice ;)

Noel Fielding went missing at Shepherd's Bar where he was supposed to be playing a DJ slot last night.

The Mighty Boosh star went AWOL just before he was supposed to perform his set at the West London venue, according to The Mirror.

A source commented: "The Feeling also did a DJ set but Noel was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps he had last-minute nerves."

Last weekend, i sat down and watched all of the third series. My friend had put it all on a vhs tape (as i am old....fashion) If i could pick one out i really like it's the cracked fox episode...which has the end missing (but i saw that online as well). Eels is a very catchy song (julian seems to really wigging out during that) as is "future sailors". The most enjoyable bits are with the shaman, but there does seem to be a lot more drug references with this series. Julian seems more 'relaxed' too. I wonder when it will come out on dvd? i suppose they will show it on BBC2 first.

It occurred to me that a photo of me with him could be funny for the 'I'm not in a gang but I'm a fan of the Mighty boosh' thread but I didn't want to disturb him. Instead I thought I'd just say 'Hi!'. As I approached, the look I got from a female mate of his brought out a twisted side of me and as I shook his hand, I said, 'How are you doing Sean Hughes? I think you're great!' He pleasantly acknowledge me without letting on I had the wrong man. As I turned to walk away, I briefly turned round and said, 'I'm only joking by the way.' I then returned to my mates in the bar and told them of my experience.

A couple of days later I met Hoopy1888 in another bar to watch football on the telly. He said, 'You'll never believe who I met last night.' Of course I didn't. He then produced the photographic proof and said when they met he referred to him as Sean Hughes, to which Noel said, 'Fuck off you Scottish cunts!'. Hoopy1888 told him the previous story and Noel said to tell me I'm a Scottish cunt. Hehe Good lad!

PS I did bump into Sean Hughes a couple of times in the now boycotted bar. He was friendly, funny and completely down-to-earth. While we were outside smoking (again!). A junkie asked everybody for money. He hit especially hit on Sean. Sean gave him some money and the guy preceded to tell Sean what a cunt he was! The only person to have given him money. There lies a lesson.
