What is a troll? It confuses me. So many contradictions surrounding this term here. Anyone care to explain?

In my view a troll is someone that isn't a vegatarian or a believer in womens rights.

A troll is a person who downtrodden's anothers life, traditions, personality, characteristics w/out even KNOWING that person in "real life" and makes up lies and assumptions from their own sickness in their mind.
