I'm stuck waking up to the news on Radio 4.
There's a timer on my half-decent little stereo in the bedroom, but the starting volume is too loud and hubby complains at whatever music I put on anyway. So R4 on the knackered old clock radio it is. Generally at 5.30am. Whereupon, if his sexual advances fail to rouse me to wakefulness, hubby tries to engage me in conversation about any news item he deems to be interesting. Then he hints heavily about how he'd enjoy a nice cup of tea after his shower.
Oh, the joys of marrying a 'morning person'.....
