I was talking to the guy I like, on IM and hes in another state, visiting fam, and he said something about being back in the area in 2 weeks. and i said something RETARDED like "i better be the first thing for you to do on your itinerary when you get back!" and then he said "ha okay!" and then i said "wait, i dont mean ...DO, i mean, like ...hang out!" but by the time i sent it, he had signed off, so i now i feel dumb. i made a weird sexual reference but i didnt mean to. :o hahaha. im sure its no big deal. its funny, but im still slightly traumatized.

I'm currently working in "apartment barrio" as a "temporary man(ager)" and some guy in the neighboring complex apparently got a wash machine for Christmas and is simply draining the grey water into our parking lot. When I went over to inquire about the draining offense, I saw this guys apartment window. It is, after a year or two. When I bought my golden sneakers, the seller warned me that the golden paint on the leather will chip off and that the warranty doesn't cover it. I've had it for a year and a half, worn it a lot and it's in a great condition (with a little tear and wear).

I know that IKEA isn’t the epitome of fine furniture, but they’re great at design and I like to go there as many people do and imagine living in a home of my own some day with designer furniture and nice textiles and etc, etc. It’s sort of like safe voyeurism because I can place myself in these little cubicles of life. ANYWAY, to make a long story short, I feel at home in IKEA. In California which is a very long state, there is a highway called the I-5 that goes north and south, basically connecting Mexico to Oregon. It’s a very lonely highway to take at some points when the fields run out and it’s just barren wasteland. In one particular stretch is a HUGE IKEA wherehouse, and everytime I pass by I think “Oh, there’s home in there.” when actually it’s most likely filled with a zillion boxes that say Fluvig and Poang and whatnot, but in my mind it’s an oasis in the middle of a stretch of nothing and it makes me feel happy. :)

You've hit the nail on the head - thankfully the country has enough reserves, but still. It makes me think of 2006 - we did notice a drop in gas pressure back then.
