im glad you agree;) we've got enough problems in our country without concerning ourselves with whats going on elsewhere:(
We have to concern ourselves, it's really important! America is one of, if not the, most influential country in the world. I care who's in charge. I know we have problems in Britian, but that doesn't mean we need to isolate ourselves from international happenings. I just meant that I felt I should be doing something memorable so that I can remember this day in 10 years.

on the balance of possesion i agree, but we were poor tonight. but quite frankly all this "missing torres" stuff's getting on my nerves. 1 league defeat since march, and that was a travestiy of justice. since 30th of jan, on the whole our form has been magnificent. but any team in the world would miss torres, fact. we're level on points with chelsea at the top and in a strong position amongst the cream:(of europe, so lets get things in perspective. skirtel missing for me is a worry, agger seems to have the co-ordination of a fucking elephant at present:(

We gave the ball away too often, and we just couldn't put one away, Agger had a few headers and that volley; he should have buried them :( We haven't lost two games on the trot since December, so, it's a good job on the morale front we didn't loose tonight ;) There's definitely all to play for in the Prem and in Europe, we're going strong, and as I've said before we're gunna win the lot this season :D :guitar:

people really do need to get a reality check though, especially the position we're in. it seems some "fans" think, "beat united/chelsea = every other game a nailed on win". doesn't work like that. ass for last december, reading:mad: and erm:tears:. we've come along way in terms of self belief since then. there was a fight in the boozer as well tonight:eek: some spaniard takes his shirt off and starts sticking his fist's up at 2 fella's:guitar:

I just picked a British town out of my head. It has nothing specific to do with Scunthorpe at all. Nothing. Forget Scurnthorpe entirely. I'm not proposing we remain in our current position of having our heads firmly up the American's arses but I think it is simply impossible for us to complete ignore such an influential country.

I do the hold-my-breath trick all the time and it works. When I was little, I used to drink a teaspoon of vinegar to stop the hiccups. Actually, the ban was not supposed to be lifted, must be a glitch in the system with so many infractions on your account.
I actually gave you the infraction about changing the sig but did not realize that you didn't have access.
That point is small in relation to your other behavior in conspiring to post the picture of another user/mod which is a major violation of the TOS. I'll reconsider lifting the ban 1 year from now.
:D:o Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. I knew he'd shoot himself in the foot eventually, and finally get the boot!
Good riddance to you Grim!
David is now numero uno king PIMP and has now moved up in the board of directors for Yoshinoya, you are still the "PIMP of California", but now, you're also the co-CEO. You will now receive a lifetime of free YO from the PIMP.....:)

Yes, I'm not absolutely sure that it was late, but I felt I didnt have any money for quite a long time so I decided it was late.
I found a great little vintage store on Great Western Road that I haven't been in before, so I would be quite eager to explore it.

I hope your classroom has a sink. My friend teaches kindergarten and after every glue or paint project they all have to go to the restroom to clean up, or use a bucket of water which becomes disgusting in seconds.

I'm really worried about my friend. Months ago I kind of...well, she told me she was self-harming and I told my mother, who told her parents. Which should be okay, right? I mean, it was painful and it upset us both, but I thought that sort of stuff was, y'know, the right thing to do. Today she let it slip to me that after her parents found out her mother basically beat her up. I mean, this was months ago and she hadn't told me and...and it really shocked me, I guess, and scared me too. I just...yeah. Scary stuff and I can't do anything about it, can I? Seems like when I try to help it gets worse. Top it off with the fact she's become bulimic again and can only keep down toast and energy drinks...fuck, I have to stop thinking about this...

Try to console yourself with the fact that you got involved when most wouldn't even have started. Obviously if you knew how her mother would react in that way you wouldn't have said anything, but it sounds like the mother is the one to blame if she reacts in such a fashion. As long as your friend understands that you did it for the right reasons and i would imagine that it wouldn't be the first time the mother would do such a thing to her daughter.
As long as your intentions were good, which they obviously were, then you've nothing to feel guilty about. You tried to help after all and MOST parents would be grateful for such information.

I think all you can do now is tell your friend you will be there for her if she needs you. It sounds cliché, I know...
Tell her that when she wants help, you'll be there for her.
I think that's all you can do right now - when she's ready for help, she knows she can come to you. You can't help someone who doesn't want it.
Good luck... :(
