Oh I see :( how about getting an older cat, an adult one?


That was my plan in the first place. I went after a 10-year-old tabby, but she'd already gone, then a one-year-old tortie, but again the temperament wasn't right. This morning, I saw an ad for some black kitties in the next village; I'll call them (it says not to call until after 3) later and see if they have any left.

lol good luck with your kitties, cats are lovely pets. We took in a stray tabby called Loui about 8 years ago, he was horribly scrawny with a big chunk out of his neck from a fight :( but he had an operation to stitch the wound and started eating normally after that.. chicken mainly because at first he wouldn't eat cat food :p

It's so hard getting a cat. When I got Lulu, we had an older boy cat already, so i needed a girl kitten so he wouldn't drop kick it into the middle of next week if it was already psychologically damaged. I went to all the shelters locally and in the middle of London, I rang every advery I saw and the very last one I tried had one little girl who someone was going to take if nobody else did. i hot footed it over there, I can tell you! I didn't originally want a kitten though, they're a pain in the bum until they're about 9 months old.

In that programme they checked cat's brain when they play different kinds of music and found that cats found African music was most relaxing. :)
