View Full Version : What is the smell of romance?

Because my mother recently bought me some shower gel called 'Romance', and it smells like stale piss and dirty underwear. It really does. It's vile.
Maybe it's supposed to smell like this? Would this scent drive the romance out of a man? Perhaps it will force them to splash out on expensive perfumes and heavily scented roses to try and disguise the smell.
What's the smell of romance to you?

The smell of sex that permeates a room and then of course there is a lot of oral slippy licky stuff...thats the smell.
I do know it's not the scent of Yorkshire Pudding.
I retract al above statements if they prove to be false sans the slippy licky comment.

I'd quite like the smell of a Yorkshire pudding bottled for sale. I bet it'd sell dead well up 'ere. 'Eau de Yorkshire' - the smell of Yorkshire puddings, sheep and flat caps. Mmmmm... (inhaling deeply..)

Romance is ultimately vile, so I guess that's a fitting title for it.

Wow, that must be some scent..my younger brother was a bedwetter until 14, and i had to share a bedroom with him
- so that ge would bring back some memories...
Is it available in the UK ? His birthday is next month and like to give him a taste (steady on Greasetea!) of his own medicine.

Some of the most memorable moments are associated with smells....And some of them were romantic. They all involved nice smelling men. That's it.

Avaliable in the UK? Well, I live in Halifax (shiver) so it should be! Heh heh. My mother got it when she was up in Aberdeen, and she bought it from...let me check. Ah, Debenhams! Bloody cheapskate. I thoght she'd bought the expensive Ralph Lauren (or something similar), but I just got pink goo that smells like piss! Gorgeous!

I don't believe that romance has a smell, but inhaling CO2 like you did in chemistry class has the same effect.

There's nothing wrong with you, infact I'd go as far as saying you have very good taste....
I don't like the women's fragrance of Issey Miyake, but the men's ......purrrpurrr..... is just yummy, it's my favourite after, well, Romance for Man.
Nice website, you're quite brave.....

No, after you, thank you....=)
You're very productive and yes very brave to put such personal stuff on the net. I'd be quite embarrassed I think. But I'm chicken like that.
