I have no problem with a man growing older, it happens, you cant stop it. Morrissey for instance has managed to grow more dashing as the years pass him by. On the other hand Robert Smith has apparently been locked in a fashion bomb shelter since before the fall of the Soviet Union. Where does he get off working over that same look for 25+ years, not to mention 25+ pounds later...

actually Dave from Gwar is very cool, he can take any song and put the word 'butt' in it over and over again and still keep the beat or some kind of rhyme...

I goof on Smith but he's ok. To his credit, like him or not, he plays a full 2 hour gig. In fact, when I saw them 2 years ago, they broke the curfew at the venue and basically were told to finish up or they were going to have the power shut off on them.

Of course, I don't know if I'm really up for 2 hours of The Cure. It did get old.

Oh my God, Gwar! The images in my mind are just too strong! Please tell me they are not still out there gwarring shit up. I saw a vid of them live and the lead singer duce had a big alien dong the he was swinging about. I havent made love since.

I don't know if they are still around. My exposure to them was limited to one song someone played for me and the time Beavis and Butthead watched one of their videos.

As for the original topic: the difference is, Morrissey has style, something that other person has been lacking all of his sad existance.
