For likers of Morrissey, I think should be a dating forum here. I for one would like to not post in wrong place and have dedicated forum for fans who like him to post here.

Yeah, that's not a bad idea...I was thinking that a Moz gig would be the perfect place to find the ideal bloke (likes Morrissey, veggie) but alas, the only guy I had eyes for there was Mozza.

Hello,

I have been looking for dating sites where I can join and wanted to share an awesome experience to those who had been looking for a perfect site with members that are just around the neighborhood…

I have been disappointed many times since there are dating sites that has members I found within the geographical area of where I live and later found out that they are just bogus or fake members just to attract surfers to join or register their dating community. Such a waste!!

Here’s the good news… I finally found this site that was referred to me by my friend http://www.thesinglesnetwork.com/?source=ern and I was amazed coz I found out that it has a list of cities in all of the states here in the US. This is exactly the site I wanted since I can go to a site where I live and meet local members in our neighborhood who are REAL people and lives exactly what is in their profile! (Thank God!) 

I had a few local dates after joining this site:
http://www.thesinglesnetwork.com/?source=ern and it was awesome… I still want to meet more gorgeous women that fit the standards I dreamed of… but for a local dating domain with 26 million members… WOW! I need more time to search for more interesting members!

If you are still in the verge of searching for a local dating site, I do RECOMMEND this local dating site to end your search spending lots of hours in your PC and gets frustrated in the end. Click the link and you go straight to a list of more than 250 cities here in the US, for you to choose from and start dating the perfect mate for you instead of being in front of your computer wasting time joining other dating sites that is useless!!!

You will be THANKFUL for reading this message after joining that site!

Enjoy,

Youngblood

Yep, same here. Same here. However I did feel a connection with MJP! (Isn't this enough to get him back on board). But most Mozzer fans are either downright cool or bonkers. It's never 'normal'. Wouldn't want that anyway.

I wouldn't be interested in anyone that wasn't interested in this (http://www.the111experience.org/index_01112007.html).

random sample:
"1980 through 1983 - The Early 111 Synchronicities
In the summer of 1980, I worked at the local newspaper delivering papers to people who didn't get their papers and carriers that were shorted. I spent a good deal of time in the car and found that I began to see 111 imbedded in the numbers on the odometer and tripometer at least once a day. The first few times it happened, it didn't seem odd, but the problem was that it kept happening. Somehow I would look at the mileage indicators just as they had turned to 111."

In the very Empirical pursuit called cricket they call that a Nelson (111) 222 is a double Nelson etc. The umpire David Shepherd used to stand on one leg if the score was a Nelson and/or its deriviatives!!!

this thread title makes me wonder, would Morrissey liking be enough? Would they have to really love Morrissey? What if they loved him more than you did and chided you about it from time to time, and made up Morrissey quizzes for you, to test you?

What if they liked 1 Morrissey, 2 God, 3 You?

On the other hand, what if they allowed you to listen to Morrissey and even went to concerts with you, but one night while having friends over, a friend started to tease you about liking Morrissey too much and your significant other agreed with them that you take the whole thing too far. What if they said something like "Morrissey's alright"? Or worse "Morrissey's alright but he's no ..." (fill in the blank)? (what if they said Kurt Cobain? Bob Marley? What if they said Boy George?)

For the record, I do like Morrissey and think that the Smiths are okay, too.

Yeh we should call it Morrissey lovers, I think.
And each person can put their favourite romantic Morrissey
line in as an opener.

I'd probably have "My love is as sharp as a needle in your eye."
Anyway, this is all pure hypothetical.
I haven't heard anyone actually make a plan about it.
I'd like to see a little more pro active suggestion!

I dated a girl once. She new a few songs by Moz/The Smiths. She became a big fan, went to a bunch of shows with me.

I dated a girl once. She was a massive fan. It was a miserable experience.

I don't think it really matters that much as long as the girl isn't obsessed with hip hop, r&b, us top40 or "ex-wife tree" music.

speakin of which
i am personally responsible for at least half a dozen female morrissey fans
and if a chick aint like moz
then she has gotta hit the road
and if they do
then his music really becomes an intergal part of the romantic process 4 me...

(Or do I want to know? No, no, I probably don't want to know.)
