My nomination goes to the video to Dancing In The Street by Bowie and Jagger. Two appallingly dressed men pretending to be chums in a very manly sense, only contradicted by the fact that they're both as camp as Christmas. If you didn't know who they were, you'd guess they were two vinyl floor salesmen from Hull who've had a bit too much to drink after a conference and have discovered their feminine side, but don't really know what to do with it. Every single second is so painful and excruciatingly embarassing. Two of the most important and subversive artists ever getting it oh so wrong.

The eruption of Thera that destroyed the Minoan civilization on Crete in the second millennium BC was pretty bad. Then there was the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918, oh, and the eruption of Krakatoa in 1883. Then again there was (Jefferson) Starship and they were pretty wretched too.
Oh my god, it's Robby!
