camera obscura - lloyd, i'm ready to be heartbroken

you should definately check out their album...it is excellent!

"Eighties Fan"

Not sure about it sounding C86 as I always thought the C86 movement was a lot rougher and more shambolic than this. This is more epic 'Sarah' records-ish(if epic 'Sarah' record isn't too much of an oxymoron).

It's a fantastic song though, and others should check out their album 'Biggest Bluest Hi-fi' especially the track 'Eighties Fan'. That particular track can be downloaded from their Myspace page, along with some other treats.

Incidentally, it's cool when song titles respond to each other like the above, and of course 'Steven, It Was Really Something' by The Associates.

I like stuff like this in short bursts infrequently. Most of the time this type of music just annoys me. Song titles like "Oops, I Spilled Herbal Tea On My Friend Jemima's Tweed Dress". But, yeah, it's "nice".

Ha, this is exactly how I feel.

I listened to it and yeah, it's nice and sounds pretty.
But it's sugary sweetness will get annoying after a while.
Good for popping in when you've really exhausted anything else possible.
