Big Brother is about to get more bitchy, with housemates being allowed to discuss nominations in public for the first time.
BB chiefs are desperate to beat Celebrity X Factor in the ratings, according to The Sun.
They are planning to make Big Brother 7 the nastiest series so far and will encourage contestants to be at each others' throats from day one, the paper says.
"The bigwigs know viewers like a bad guy on the show. This year every contestant will have to be a bad guy to survive," it quotes a source.
"Letting the contestants discuss nominations is a sure-fire way to get the blood boiling."
The nomination process will be changed to stop housemates sitting on the fence in arguments to try to remain popular.
Instead, the weekly task will determine who is Head of House. They then decide the nominations and openly discuss who they want out, the paper claims. Viewers will have the final say.
The source adds: "The plan is for a ruthless bitch-fest that will keep Big Brother on top.”
BB7, which starts on May 18 and will again be hosted by Davina McCall, will be the biggest series so far, with 18 contestants sharing two bedrooms.
Looking forward to this.
