I am wondering if there are any other rabid Livejournal users on this forum. There a quite a few interesting Morrissey/Smiths communities on Livejournal. Anyway, post your Livejournal username here! :)

Bwahahahahaaaa! I have read some that actually do and were maybe less exciting than that. On the whole though.. for me, it is like a lesson in sociology, reading other people's blogs. I also find it quite therapudic writing in my own.
To each their own, I suppose.

I think of Livejournal as more of an online diary than a 'blog.' My definition of a 'blog' is basically just a place where people express opinions about politics and such topics while an online journal is more introspective and like a traditional handwritten journal ie "Today I went for a walk and listened to the trees..." and so on. Well, mine is like that in any case. Of course, I personally could NEVER make my Livejournal public. Most entries are private while the rest are friends only. I love my Livejournal and it keeps me relatively sane. :)

Most entries are private? I'm sure you've been asked this question to the point of tedium already, but if you wouldn't mind answering for the thousandth time, why do you keep private entries on the internet instead of just writing them on your own computer?

No, it's a valid question and I don't really know how to answer. If something is extremely private such as I'm having an argument with my friend who may also have a Livejournal and be on my Friends List I will make it private. Or if my depression is acting up and I'm feeling full of self-pity I will make it private. But this doesn't answer your question does it? The only reason I can think of for keeping an online journal as opposed to one on MSWord is that I can access it anywhere. Sorry, that's the best I can do hon.
