It's been a while since i noticed that but never posted it on any forum about Morrissey.
One of the songs in this game is "Irish blood, English heart".
At first, I was glad to hear Morrissey while playing FIFA until...

i realized they had CENSORED the Cromwell bit! (my favourite bit in the song :o))

Has anybody noticed??
Does anybody know if Morrissey is aware of that?

My young son brought it to my attention! Though I didn't listen to it long enough to know it was edited. I wouldn't be surprised if Morrissey's not aware of it. Isn't it the hands of the record label to make that decision?

No idea. It's weird though. His record label for "you are the Quarry" was Attack Rcds. I don't think they would have allowed censorship one of Morrissey's songs, especially one that was released as a "single". It could also be the arbitrary decision of EA Games which would be absolutely outrageous.
I can understand why they censored the rude bits in the Streets"Fit but you know it" (which is in the soundtrack of the game a well), but censoring something about Cromwell?
or maybe it is really seen as dangerous to attack Cromwell in a song so maybe the song's worth editing... I'm confused...
