Anyone heard of this band?

They have a (not so great) song called 'Morrissey's Tongue' on their website.

Here's an interview with the singer where he also mentions Morrissey -

That song's a little cringe-worthy, but I kinda dig the sound. A little. I dunno, I can't decide. The vocalist is awful.

I like it, i'd go to see 'em live anyway if they ever came near.

Here are the lyrics if you care!

Morrissey's Tongue

I could procrastinate for all the state of Denmark
So naturally I felt a little queer
Being still so young when Morrissey's tongue
Slipped into my ear

It could loll out like a little languid limpet
Or it could howl the most heinous hullabaloo
We were taught "Money Talks", but I knew love sung
From Morrissey's tongue

The world belongs to those that know they're born
Not to be cool but to be warm
They'll always remain as sweetly young
As Morrissey's tongue

His reading was right-on, his writing righteous
But his arithmetic added up funny
And it seemed somehow he'd ended up
With all the other guys' money
Well you just hadn't earned that much, honey

The world belongs to those that know they're born
Not to be cool but to be warm
They'll always remain as sweetly young
As Morrissey's tongue

Then the earth moved in our geography class
It was you and me against the world map
I opened my eyes and all I saw was England
And Her voice said "I've found you a use"
And I fell to my knees - gave up my youth
To the saving of England's girls from sinning against their home
By spending the night alone

The world belongs to those that know they're born
Not to be cool but to be warm
They'll always remain as sweetly young
As Morrissey's tongue

And when England is gone and it's no use
To claim she once enflamed a youth
More than all the concubines in Shantung.
