Margaret Thatcher was one of the Top 5 British Prime Ministers in history. She and Reagan were truly one of the great partnerships, although they'll never match Churchill-FDR. God bless Winston Churchill... I'll submit he was quite possibly the greatest politician/political mind in history. At least he's my favourite :-)

Cheers,

Did I forget to mention that I have a tiny penis and was molested as a child?
That's why I'm such a worthless mongrel.
Everyone knows that Thatcher is an evil old witch and the sooner she's dead the better.

I mostly am happy for Thatcher having been prime minister as well!

I have to question how high you're ranking FDR, if I'm reading you right as placing him amongst the greatest-ever. FDR is an extremely mixed bag, and his successes perhaps make people wanna brish his failings under the rug. People shouldn't forget that he had pegged Stalin all wrong, probably in part due to his administration being infested with a few Soviet sympathizers (and perhaps even Soviet agents). I think one has to fault FDR for much of Europe being locked behind the Iron Curtain. Also, I cannot approve of the internment camps for U.S. citizens of Japanese descent, a rather large black mark despite the gravity of the war he guided us through. There are other things about FDR I dislike, but I don't know that I should get into it more.....

I'd have to go all the way back to the American revolution to find politicians I have the highest regard for. I can only despair when I compare them with the C student politicians of our modern era.
