After listening to the Beatles back catalogue, there has and never will be a band post 1960's that weren't heavily influenced by The Beatles.

You just hear it in every song, from Yes Johnny Marrs rifts to Paul Weller today.

Anyone heard Paul Wellers latest? It could have been taken from the White Album.

Anyway, they will always be the greatest partnership known to man.

Rolling Stones? Behave.

They all just hate to admit. Apart fromNoel and Liam that is. Good on ya.

Re: Four worDs...

Well I must say I haven't heard their work, but I'll take your word for it.

At the last count McCartney had around 170 million in the bank.

Where do "A Load of Bollocks" stand on the greedy bastards while children are dying scale?

Yes, thought so.

I just feel like telling you you're actually wrong, because
not every single band could possible be influenced by The Beatles.
There are certainly bands and individuals who for whatever reason is beyond
me have no affinity at all with The Beatles.
There are musicians who are so in a making of their own
musical experience they are practically devoid of any influence.
Ahh, but who might they be. You may well ask.
But I cannot tell you. Eclectic Purists of Extreme Music from Another
Dimension.
Authentic Individual Talentists of their own making.
Pretty exciting, huh?

G.Martin is the best producer in the world...still was, still is (I hope). Go get some of their "product" and stick it on. "Rubber Sole" is a start.

I do prefer "The Smiths" or more so "Morrissey" to the "Beatles", but you cannot and will not ever argue the fact that the beatles sealed the deal for whatever went beyond. You just can't because the beatles just were and ever shall be....argue to hell....you'll never win.

Oh George still "is"

Many choose not to remember, then again, I suppose he forgot before he began.

Mmmm.Weller's album is the best he had done in 20 odd years.I do like some Beatles stuff but not in a million years is Sargeant Pepper the best album of all time. It's not even the best Beatles album.

I love Revolver,Rubber Soul and the White Album but the track Revolution No.9 is the worst "song" ever commited to vinyl.

On the whole, I do prefer the Stones though and even The Small Faces from that era

Where did I state Sergeant Pepper is the best album of all time?

Where did I state any Beatles album is the best of all time?

I simply stated that all who went after where obviously influenced, which I would presume obvious.

Although Pepper did prdouce "She's leaving home" and was it "Paper back writer" and either "Eleanor Rigby" or "Lovely Rita Meter Maid"...

Oh I can't keep up.

Neither could the Rolling Stones!
