My only comparison to this is I've been to the Stone Pony a couple of times and I can tell you there are no Jewish Drink throwers, Springsteens "biggest fan" going around offering to trade bootleg DVD's for info on where people work(including their spouses) so he can cause trouble at their places of employment, and just vindictive nastiness in general. My all time favorite is someone using Morrissey's 45th birthday weekend as an opportunity not to celebrate his lyrics and his life, but to posts pictures of himself wearing a derragatory shirt against Proper in an attempt to flame a message board war.It's not about him, it's about Morrissey and his behavior was total disrespect to the man.
I've been to Yankee/Red Soxs games that are nowhere near this bad.It can get heated in the stands(well there is drink throwing and mustard on my new boots) but it never gets so personal where there is a need to find out where they live or wanting to get them fired from their jobs.
