you may remember this item..

which the seller was trying to convince people came from the Birmingham gig
(as seen in this photo..)

Not very similar, are they?

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I became the winning bidder because his fraudulent additional e-bay identities removed their bids.

Anyhow, I have just received the following lovely e-mail from Barry Chuckle.
(I'd like to see the PROOF that the money has gone to the tsunami appeal, what a hypocrite!) And it's a lovely threat, but I don't sell on e-bay anyway so stuff that into the pocket of your fake jacket.

Dear girlunafraid,

Just to say I've sold the jacket to someone who isnt deranged and spends their life on a twisted fucked up forum. All money went to the tsunami appeal. And alot more money would have gone to that cause if you and your pals haddnt took it upon yourselves, the mighty chosen ones, to warn the public of this 'fake' jacket. Who are you? What right do you have to do that?Unless you are Morrissey how can you be sure either way whos jacket it is? Yes I did put the item on to make money for myself because I am an extremely poor student, and then came the devestation in Asia. Even if it wasnt Morrisseys its worth about 500 quid anyway. You dont even know me and I dont know you but I gave you the benifit of the doubt. You have an unatural fascination with a singer from Manchester who is severly overrated. If I'm offering the chance to come and check the jacket out how on earth can I be being fradulant. Dont worry anything you try and sell you will be getting exactly the same treatment.enjoy ebaying

Thank you,

I take this opportunity to apologise unreservedly to barrychuckle, I mean he's selling this video so he must be a martial arts expert by now.

ssssh!

anyway, he must have sold it for a decent price, poor lad being a student and donating all the proceeds to the tsunami appeal. I feel a little guilty now. But not that much, he was using this board to promote his jacket and then turns round and says we're all nutters! Why didn't he let a real fan get the jacket in the first place if that's what he thought. Hell, what was he doing at the concert in the first place?

Looks like it's registered users only now btw, what a refreshing change

Indeed, but for how long I wonder before the usual suspects bypass the system and the board is flooded with aliases again?

What was I saying about aliases? I thought people couldnt post under old registered names anymore?Obviously I was wrong and yes I know who you are and why you posted.

The person I am thinking off mr chairman (or do you prefer your other usual name?) has nothing whatsoever to do with the jacket.

And when I said old registered names I meant in addition to the new one I thought every poster had to register yesterday. I see some havent done that yet are still posting under their old name. The person I am thinking of has registered a new name though and it`s not I love Rourkie Bear. That being one of their many previous aliases.

The lyrics of a fairly recent Bowie song spring to mind,"everything`s changed and nothing`s changed.
