How's this for an idea:

Morrissey, how about recording an album made-up of songs written by your (musically inclined) Fans. I've been writing songs for 5 years, but they seem to be suited only to your voice. I've been playing GTR for 17 years. How about it? I'm sure there's a few others who would contribute. One or two songs by person. I'm In. Who's with me?

OK i'm up for it too! I've been composing masterpieces on my banjo and harmonica for years. With Morrissey's help, I cannot wait to unleash the power of my music upon the masses. Rock on.

Even if it did happen, Moz wouldn't want to pay songwriting royalties.

yes! Any my friend figured out how to play an F chord on the piano tonight. I figure he would want to donate something.

for something experimental, I'm going to go all out and record the sound of myself slamming my fingers in the door over and over, and since it's a 4-track, if I mess up, I'll have to rewind and start over until I get it right.

I'm already playing in a great band. As far as playing with anyone else, it would most certainly be with Moz only (and Boz). (In my dreams!)

As far as the Recording project, I have looked far and wide for a singer of Moz's caliber, but thats impossible. I'm thinking now of a female singer a-la "Vanessa Paradis" or "Sandi Shaw". Who knows?

FYI, if you need a studio for your guys, consider Boz's studio. The prices are reasonable and he seems to be a good Joe.
