is everybody meeting in the Anchor of Poo Bay?

We land at KGX so where do we go from there? i.e. tubes or buses or whit?

Last time I travelled to London with this person, we got lost so no wanting to take any more chances.

What's the weather forecast as well please?

Who are you Plaptop? There's something fishy about you, can't quite put my finger on it.

Any other recommendations about tubes, PLEASE?

According to http://home.hccnet.nl/de.bock/icao/iataairp/k.htm KGX is Grayland, USA. You'll need more than a tube and a few f***ing buses to get from there, sunshine.

According to my travel connections, it's a train station, known to the locals probably as Kings Cross.

Sorry, didn't realise I was dealing with thickos here.

I travel through that station every day, and I've never heard of it referred to as that.

From King's Cross, follow the directions to the Thameslink. Then you need the Southbound platform, and Blackfriars is but 3 stations away. Make sure you check the screens to see that it is going through that station though, as the line forks off at a point before there and half the trains go the other way to Moorgate (you need a train going to Sutton or Brighton). Trains are every 15 mins, and the journey is no more than about 10.

And that thicko comment may cost you a pint, dear.

Woo thanks!!

But can't I get a tube? I got some tube tickets to use?

Where's this London Eye? Is it worth a drunken ride up there?

Re: A thicko reports in detail

Or you can stay in Kings Cross station, but go down to the underground and get on a Circle Line train that'll take you round to Blackfriars.
Make sure you get on one going eastbound (towards Liverpool St.).
Blackfriars is three or four stops after Liverpool St.

And I'll have a pint 'n'all.

Sheesh. Cheers Paddy. A pint to all those who helped.

How much does a London pint cost? I still have some euros left over.

You won't get much change out of three quid for my guinness.
The girlie drinks like Stella, Carling and those other light, watery things will be slightly cheaper, I don't know. You'd have to ask one of the girls.
