When are they going to reunite? It's time for Moz and Marr to hang up their flailing solo careers and go back to what they did best.

What planet are you on? The Smiths will never reunite. Possibly a 1% chance of a reunited Morrissey/Marr alliance, but you have got more chance of the original Beatles line up getting back together with special guest appearnaces from Freddy Mercury, Kurt Cobain and Frank Zappa, with Mozart writing a special orchestral arrangement of 'How Soon is Now'. Do you not recall the recent court case where Mr Morrissey and Mr Marr both lost a million a piece. In all honesty I don't think we can really call their relationship with Mr Joyce friendly or even ammicable. I want to see a Smiths reunion as much as the next man, but I also want to sleep with Cameron Diaz. We have to be realistic about these things, they are not going to happen.

Morrissey has expressed in fairly recent interviews that he is highly supportive of a reunion of The Smiths, despite his apparent contentment with Alain & Boz.
If a Smiths reunion were to happen, I doubt that it would include Mike. The most important players anyway, are of course Johnny & Morrissey.
Now, I haven't read much regarding Johnny's interest in such a notion. I think alot of Electronic's work is very strong, & Johnny would probably like to avoid conjuring up bad feelings from the past by reuniting with Morrissey. He's a very progressive thinker, & would probably continue with current projects rather than revisit the past. I would love for it to happen, though... The only thing that is holding Morrissey back from contemporary greatness is the lack of quality management & quality musical compositions.

I read Johnny isn't with Electronic (Bernard is back w/New Order, which by the way is touring THIS SUMMER!) He's playing with the Healers (i think). He said they may play the Fillmore in San Francisco as their first concert. That would be interesting, never really got into Johnny, but I'd check him out in concert. I'm just going from his website...
