Hell no! His performances on the Oye Esteban tour were amazing, so full of life and he sang beautifully. Much better than 1997. The band made Meat is Murder sound much better than the recorded smiths version, much more powerful and with an impassioned performance from moz. Besides, moz was happy to be singing! With the right label, and the right promotion, I believe that moz can return to his early 90's popularity. For now, he remains a cult figure, and I couldn't be happier. Smaller venues and barricades make for intimate performances... It is a grat time to be a morrissey fan

Has Morrissey ever played big venues or arenas? I really loved the fact that the venue I went to was so small that he could actually hear you if you yelled loud enough.

Oh, yeah. The first time I saw Moz was June 1, 1991 at the Pacific Amphitheatre. I could only get tickets on the Lawn and he was soooooo far away! Even with binoculars it was hard to see him. Then some people started a bonfire behind me and got pretty crazy. So to see Morrissey from the rail,at the very very front and to be touching him is absolutely amazing. I am very glad he has lost something in the way of popularity because it's all the better for me.
Justin is right, it's a great time to be a Morrissey fan. I just can't wait until he's playing the lounges afterhours in Vegas!

Man I was sooooo lucky to be at the rail in San Francisco! It would suck to see him in a huge arena and not be able to feel so close to him. I'm glad he's not so popular that people just like him because that's the cool thing to do. Feels almost like that's our little secret, eventhough he has plenty of fans. It's not like he's a mainstream pop band like Back Street boys or something.

Among those, from the days of the Smiths, who are still a fan... I must say what a thrill it is to be able to see Morrissey up close! (And with the pleasure of touching his hand!!!!!) Even after all those years.... darn he looks good!!! Ahh...and that voice!! Though it is strange to see him at smaller venues now, I won't complain! We are very fortunate!

The only thing he needs to lose are moron monkey ass idiots that only go to hear him sing anything off vauxhall and i or "how soon is now?" I hate those fans and if i can, i would beat them all sensless to the point of a cardiac arrest or maybe a nice coma.
