Okay, I don't want to sound really stupid or not hip or anything but what exactly do these shirts mean- if anything.??? This boy I'm in love with wore his "Morrissey Swimming" shirt to Vegas and I've seen other people wearing them at other shows and...etc. So what's the deal? Let me know. Thank you.

From what I can remember, Morrissey said once, in an interview, that the only exercise he partook in was swimming.

A while later, in another interview, a journalist asked him if he still swam. Morrissey was suprised that the journalist had known about that - he even jokingly said something about having wanted to keep that part of his life a secret. Apparently, he had forgotten the topics of the previous interview.

Anyway, thats MY take on it. I didn't even KNOW about the existence of these shirts, up until now.

You were probably referring to the present, but as a boy, he used to run as well... track team or something like that I believe.

I saw that too.. YES its about swimming.. BUT whats the point? It's a black shirt that says simply "Morrissey swimming" .. there has to be something to it!

The shirts are from the Maladjusted tour. I think the point of the shirts is that Morrissey is written like a university. So by wearing them you are sort of on moz's team. Morrissey swim team..? what would our mascot look like? Swimming is the best exercise, i swim around 4 times a week and eat whatever i want.
