Hello all my Morrissey friends,

We all Love Morrissey very very much and there will NEVER be another like him, this we all know. Even though I listen to him 23 hours a day I like to listen to something else for that remaining hour.

What are some of your favorite albums (that is not a Smiths or Morrissey album)

My fav is The London Suede (self name tittle)

Besides Morrissey 23.5 hours a day - these are all the artists I need
in life.
Can anyone else out there identify with this list?
Morrissey rip-offs like Gene and Suede suck. They're not even good
rip-offs.
But of course, to each yer' own!

It seems as though a lot of people think like this, but for some reason I don't. I'm sure Morrissey influenced Gene and Suede in some way, but I would not call them a rip off. Of course Morrissey is better, but they are still talented all the same (early Suede, I'm not to impressed with there newer stuff). Off course this is just an opinion........

By the way I like The Stone Rose's too.

Maybe what makes me say Suede is a rip-off is because they embody
that "English" sound that the Smiths defined, and England seems to have totally abandoned. So for them maybe I was too harsh.
But I still think Gene is a horribly blatant Smiths cover band that
claim those songs as their own. (why do you think Morrissey introduced
one of his songs as a Gene one? Even he thinks so!)
Why haven't I EVER heard a band influenced by the Smiths/Morrissey
that I like????????????
