"The server experienced an unexpected crash which it has recovered from quite poorly this time. This was not an intentional maintenance shut down or what not... quite a large number of users have mentioned unusual internet activity through the evening, so it seems to be a widespread problem. However, Nir is getting some rest, so it will have to wait until he's up... those who are still connected aren't able to search, and chat seems to be laboured. The server machine needs a restart and a couple tweaks to get some things straightened out that went sour in the crash. It will be back up soon enough... but if he's decided to sleep through the night, that's that."
