Some of you may or may not know that me and my partner in crime Pete have a couple of shows on local radio (www.bcb.yorks.com). Anyway, Pete told me tonight that as part of one of the shows he was interviewing a local Priest, who, as all is told, has a hard time as a vicar in Manningham (if you don't know, it's a predominantly asian area of Bradford). Anyway, I digress...., Pete played Hold On To Your Friends, and the priest said the lyrics were beautiful, and an ideal subject for his next sermon, as an example of how to relate to your kith and kin. And so, he does. Now, I'm an atheist, but I find it highly amusing that a local man of the cloth deems it wise to base a whole sermon on a Morrissey song!
