''SHE LIVE IN A FLAT, SHE STUPID AS A RAT''
Make up your own lyric and win final Suede album
03 Feb 2004

Suede have issued one final exclusive album as a thank you present to fans, and PlayLouder has THREE to give away.

Only two thousand were made in the whole world ever, and as there are 1,850 fanclub members, and crew and band and general Suedey people will also need copies, that makes this a very rare disc indeed.

Tracks include 'Elaine Paige' recorded as a potential b-side to 'New Generation' at the end of 94, then abandoned and later resurrected for the 'Trash' single under the new guise of 'Another No One', plus the rare French language version of 'The Power' called 'La Puissance', and Clash
legend Mick Jones' remix of Suede's most recent hit single, 'Attitude'.

The full tracklisting to 'see you in the next life' looks like this:

She (strings intro)

Elaine Paige

La Puissance

Lazy (demo)

By The Sea (acoustic version)

Indian Strings (Protocol demo)

She's In Fashion (Protocol demo)

Simon (demo)

Beautiful Loser (Parkgate demo)

When The Rain Falls (Stanbridge demo)

Untitled (Stanbridge demo)

Attitude (Mick Jones remix)

The CD includes artwork chosen by Brett Anderson featuring photography by cult Belgian artist Jean-Pierre Muhlstein, featuring some bird chucking some headphones on her lugholes. Tres sophisticated.

Anyway - to get your hands on one of these beauties we want you to write a new lyric for the beginning of 'Savoir Faire'. Everyone moaned and groaned when they heard the lyric 'She's lives in a house / she stupid as a mouse', and possibly with some justification.

So, come up with another better lyric, and the ones we like the best will receive copies of this mightily rare, and rather special collector's album.

Send your answers to [email protected]

And if you don't win one you'll be a Beautiful loser, unless you're a pig like - TALK!

Re: HA HA Almodis Do you reckon Pedophile Princess can cut it?

Now's my chance to shine.
Nah, I don't think I can surpass the original lyrics

Let's work on this together shall we, is it just the first line?

We could Show Brett how it's done properly.

How about:

Pedophile Princess on her posh estate,
She got herslef into an electric state.

or maybe something with a Dragon ...

I'm ready to send it in

people, no plagarizing allowed!
