Margarine Eclipse - excellent stuff, played it consecutively last night, haven't done that with a new album in ages. I expect this to be my choice for album of the year, Mary Hansen is sorely missed though

yeah, they're cool.. Thanks Radar, I shall serioulsy ponder a purchase of the smooth sounding euro indie kids.. Like a lounge version of Ladytron!

New Air album

Has anyone heard the new Air album, 'Talkie Walkie'?
If so, would you recommend it?

Yes Bluenose.. Go buy it.. the first Air album Moon Safari is one of my top of all time.. Walkie Talkie is possibly better, more consistent.

'Cherry Blossom Girl' is the single and is beautiful.. I played the whole of of Walkie going home Friday for the first time and liked almost every minute of it! High-ish praise indeed when no track is skipped forward on.

It has got a good review in this months record collector mag. I liked their first album, but this one isn't going on the priority list, they certainly aren't in the labs league.
