I think the Inside Out documentary on tomorrow night is only being shown in the North West! This means you will not be able to see it if you are in Sutton! I will not be able to see it either. I hope you will be able to get someone to videotape it for you if you cannot get to the North West!

I hope you are well Andy E I. Here are the answers to the questions you have asked me.

I don’t know whether Andy Rourke will become a proper TV presenter – perhaps it depends on how he does on this Inside Out Show? If people ring in and say how good he is, that might help.

I don’t think Select magazine is still going.

If Andy Rourke did take over the Kilroy Show, I think it would make sense to rename it “Andy Rourke” or perhaps just “Rourke”. When Taggart died they didn’t change the name, but that was a detective show (set in Scotland).

“Mind Your Language” was a sitcom based in a nightschool class where foreigners were learning to speak English. Most of the humour was based around misunderstandings between the foreigners, so you can imagine how amusing it was!

Richard Jobson is a pop star who became a TV presenter. He was in the Skids!

He was married to Mariella Frostrup! Lots of people would like to go into her valley. Do you think she sounds like that because she smokes a lot?

Mariella Frostrup does loads of voice-overs...

...nothing much else but she seems to get by.

She's very nice. I like posh women...probably because I am one....

I used to like Carol Keaton when she was on "Blue Peter". What happened to her ?

Re: Mariella Frostrup does loads of voice-overs...

Do you mean Caron Keating, daughter of Gloria Hunniford?

*shakes head in dispair*

AND you didn't spot my Half Man Half Biscuit quote. Where is a real music fan, like The Magic Fairy, when you need one?

That's the one Bluenose. She could have wrapped me up in sticky back plastic anyday

Not sure about The Magic Fairy. I thought Liverpool had sold Emile Heskey

Is this New Labour, Mr Blair?

I spotted it! I was drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

Well, rattle my bones all over the stones!

Will send you some more stuff soon.

Biz-r. Yesterday at work I found myself walking the corridors whistling "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle". Some woman came out of an office ahead of me. I half hoped she'd turn around and say, "hey, is that The Smiths you're trying to whistle?". But she didn't. Bah.

Damn. Meant to change the title. So I've done it now.

Re: What is Skids??

I didn't see the programme. How do you know where I live live?? Maybe they could call Kilroy. "Rourke Talk" no i don't know if that sounds right.

The Skids were a pop group from Dunfermline in Scotland between 1977 and 1982. Richard Jobson was the singer and Stuart Adamson (RIP) was the guitarist. I do not know who the bass player was.

I didn’t see the programme either.

You have mentioned where you live before and I remembered.

“Rourke Talk” is a very good suggestion. Here are some other ones I thought of:

Talk With Rourke

Rourkey Talk

It’s Rourke! Let’s Talk!

I have not heard who will be taking over the show yet. They may want someone with more experience for everyday on BBC1. Perhaps Andy Rourke will be able to get a job with Sky in which case he will be working for the (naturalised) Yankee Dollar. (You may not understand why I said this).

Here’s a picture of the Skids. It is not colour. I hope you have a nice weekend Andy EI!

'Working for the Yankie Dollar' is a track by The Skids. Don't worry if you haven't heard of them, they are completely boring in my opinion, and don't get me started on Big Country, (Stuart Adamson's band after the Skids).

I've said it before here, the play 'Into the Valley' when the charlton team comes out the tunnel. I always thought that was cool.

Heard the new Graham Coxon single ('freakin out') I think it is.. it's pretty good. Has an opening riff reminiscent of 'Into the valley'

Ruffian

PS, next you'll be knocking the Godlike 'Members'!

I actually think The Members were a poor mans version of The Ruts, but I won't go any further otherwise Patrick will tell me off

Steve Lillywhites brother Adrian was their drummer, who did some good work with Kirsty MacColl for her 'Electric Landlady' album in 1991.
