I've only heard a few of his songs on the radio, and that's it. They didn't grab me.

A talented musician.

Plus he gets big props for being in Lynch's Fire Walk with Me.
I actually own San Francisco Days, but only because Can't Do a Thing (To Stop Me) is on it. The rest of the record, like most of the other material of his I've heard, is just a little too country for me.

I only know a few songs- but they are great!

I love "Wicked Game"... I read an article on him years back that he was so poor at one point in his career that he lived on dog food- and actually argued with a supermarket checker over the price because it was supposed to be on sale!!

I like a lot of his songs, but I think my favorite is his remake of "Yellow Bird" on the Baja Sessions album.
