Always a pleasure to stump you. I'll tell you the answer if no one else comes up with it. But not just yet - I shall leave an intervening episode (or period of time) until I do.

It's too wee to see but the only person in the whole world who died earlier this month was Bob Monkhouse.
So that's my answer - Bob Monkhouse.

No. Doc Pomus would be closer.

Re: Is it Jake Hess? too small to see!

Not Jake Hess. I didn't know who he was - is there a Moz connection?

I found a bigger pic.

I wasn't thinking of Bob (but I bet Bluenose could link him to Moz via some old film).

You should read the papers - people are dying every day.

You're right there, Flopper. Bob was in the first Carry On film (Sergeant) and as we know, Moz loves the Carry Ons.

Ooh you are awful...but I like you

Troy Tate? No idea what he looks like, but this guy somehow looks like a "Troy".

Anthony Newley???

No I think it was the guy who used to make/direct morrisseys promotional films????

Do you mean Derek Jarman?

Nah, he died about 10 years ago now.

Anthony Newley died a while back, too.

Ah, I think you may be right...

I vaguely recall reading he was dead, but didn't think it was recently.

Re: Flopper, did we ever get the answer?

Please tell us Flopper. Sorry if you have already and I missed it. Is it John Porter from the BBC? This chap looks American to me though. Can I guess again? Seymour Stein?

Re: I'll get me coat......

Oh! I see now that it was a picture of Hal Shaper. I shall go and play Timi's version of Interlude and then the more recent version when I get home. Curiously, and only of interest to myself, he shared his birthday with me and Nelson Mandela.....
