Think what you want..... but I think everyone should attack Much Music and let them know that Moz should get airplay because he has alot of fan base and hell I am sick of watching s*** when I channel surf and never see the beautiful one swaying those hips. Yeah..I know I could just not watch M2 but s*** happens. Heaven forbid if he got the recognition and exposure to the world that he rightfully deserves...Happy Valentines Day =)

Listen my friend... maybe you sould watch Muchmusic for more than 5 minutes at a time. Just last Friday I turned on Much and the second video I saw was How Soon Is Now?, a video by some Morrissey guy and a few of his friends. Maybe if you realized that Muchmusic has bills to pay, you'd realize why 99% of the stuff they play is the most popular crap of the moment. If only you wait long enough...

P.S. I just want to say, I haven't been away... so one day, if you're bored, my all means mail me..

city limits used to give regular airplay to how soon is now. of course it's been cancelled now--much used to have a bank of half-decent shows far superior to anything i saw on mtv, but they've scrapped them now. a friend of mine who works at cityinteractive says for the most part it's a matter of changing demographics. fact is that most older people know better than to expect anything from popular video broadcasting stations and they're targeting the kiddies now. it's a matter of brittany spears over moz--they couldn't give a rat's arse if it's horrible fluff, it's what sells.

i would suggest that you send in requests. last fall they played "this charming man" (not the tube version) when i requested it online. give it a go.

I think we should organize a campaign (like the one for MTV); a specific day, a specific song. I've been sending MuchMusic requests daily for months for Moz to no avail. However, together perhaps...

I don't want Morrissey on Much Music. That channel makes MTV look like high culture.

I'm sending my requests for Morrissey to be played on BET. Cuz the Man sure won't play his cuts anymore. Manchester niggaz should get to represent too. He's got cuts about gangsters, ghettos, keeping it real, not being a sell out.....

Much Music is, of course, awful. But it would be better, for a day, with a Morrissey video on it. And if it rescues a single Backstreet fan from a life of banality then it's worth it.

MuchMusic actually recorded Morrissey's second solo concert (Dublin '91) but have never showed more than a couple of clips. They also interviewed crew members from that first tour (including Jo Slee I think). I'm pissed off they've never showed it in full. I sent an email requesting it once and of course no reply.
