Title not a typo.
Paralympians As Super-Human Super-Hero Gladiators
vs
Paralympics as crypto-fascists raising bar so only super-disabled get respect and the arthritis sufferer who makes it 100 yards to the local shop once a week just isn't trying hard enough and needs a job/olympic training schedule/swim the Thames for charidee.....etc.
Let rip:
Ian Dury. ATOS. Cyborg-Bionic Singularities. Danny Boyle. Cameron's tragically deceased son. Stephen Hawking. Right-to-Die Tony Nicklinson: no events for 'locked-in'. No events for 'mentalists': pole-vault for vertigo sufferers, etc. Little Britain. Walliams cognitive dissonance or 'moment of clarity'?
Oh, and the minor matter of whether Morrissey's 'November Spawned A Monster' is still a 'challenging' and relevant meme or just another example of troll-chic gratuitous controversy-in-song-gone-seriously-wrong. Why Dury? Not Moz? As it's a solo song, no licencing issues unless Clive Langer is in 'bad odour'. And so on and so forth.
I invite the scholars and scribes of the intellectual genius known as 'Morrissey' to discuss this politely and cordially. No curse words please! I'm curating this conversation elsewhere but I would be 'interested' in the views of the cultural heavyweight elite here.

Walliams reflects on body-dysmorphia/body-fascist memes for 'Mittel-Britain: Redux'?
