PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS IF PARTICIPATING! ♥
the idea: a photo album "birthday card" for morrissey, to be hand-delivered at the san diego birthday show. i will be collecting photos of devoted morrissey fans from around the world, holding signs with their birthday messages to morrissey - this will be everyone's way of "signing" the card. i will crop each of them (most likely into a 4"x4" square) and lay them out in the album in a simple, attractive way.
to participate: your photo should be of you, holding a sign, with any kind of birthday message for morrissey. it can say anything you want, but should be legible - keep in mind it will be printed fairly small. PLEASE include your first name and location on the sign. other than that, BE CREATIVE!
this can obviously just be a simple snapshot of you with your sign, but feel free to use a special place, props, other people, etc to make your photo special. birthday hats, morrissey shirts, anything you want!
MAKE SURE photo is high enough resolution to print (4"x4") and please try to keep enough space on the longest side so that it can be cropped square without losing important stuff! you can crop it yourself if you want, or i'll do it.
i'm totally happy to pay for this myself (the album i'm eyeing is around $50, plus photo printing), but if you'd like to donate a buck or two (literally) towards the project, contact me for my paypal address.
deadline: please email your photo to me NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, MAY 13TH, 2012. this will give me a week to put the album together.
