For most people it is when they gave birth or witnessed the birth of their child. For sad people like me it was:

Being present when Manchester United won the league in 1993 (in Birmingham and Manchester). When United won the Champions League in 1999 and I was in the pub closest to Old Trafford. Many other occasions when United won the league. Most emotional and crying happy tears when the United team walked onto the pitch at Old Trafford in May 1997 against Newcastle as newly crowned champions and I was in the Stretford End.

Falling in love and seeing your loved one arriving to spend time with you. Partying with friends the whole night until 7 in the morning. Going to gigs and bicycling with the one you love.

Sometimes you feel you never had much of a life until you start to remember what happened in the past.

i felt real joy for a short moment, the sort of joy that shows you a new side of life. but then it was gone, leaving me with nothing but my memories. it happened in a kebab house. lamb kofte with double garlic sauce. i've got tears in my eyes typing this. i don't want to talk about it.
