View Full Version : What's your most painful experience?

This could be physical pain or emotional. Some examples from Smiths/ Moz....
"I'd hate the pain of the strain all over again"
"I crashed down on the cross-bar, and the pain was enough to make a shy bald ...."
"Thwacks you on the knees, knees you in the groin, elbow in the face...."
I think emotional pain will be most memorable to people over the years... "Emotional air raids" is another line to mention

Emotional pain? Don't want to go into. Physical pain? I'd say a couple of the toothaches I've experienced within the last year or so have taken the cake as far as pain, it's just absolutely debilitating, tears don't stop, powerless to make it stop. Other than that I'd say the recovery period after being clobbered in the head with a golf club. It hit me just above my temple and knocked me out immediately, so the pain wasn't so much until after the stitches were in and an egg formed from the swelling afterward and stretched out the stitches and dried blood for several days. I got a fever and got very sick, it was a mess. And it throbbed for days.

I think most guys might say that there most physical pain might be there (you know what), womens might be child birth. But it's ironic that some girls have shared pain with men....

aLt.. Some girl who went around kicking guys you-know-where
I did that once. Felt terrible. :( HE was the school bully though! Putting my friends in the trash can and spitting on them! So I walked up and kicked him in the balls and he had to go home. Then everyone covered for me and nobody said who did it.
I still felt bad though, it looked like it hurt. :o
Billy Norris. He probably has five bully kids of his own today so I doubt it did any harm in the long run.

I had a kidney problem a couple of years ago -glomerulonephritis.My blood pressure rocketed and my head felt like it was gonna explode.Imagine your worst headache times ten.
I was pissing blood and shitting black/green bile and I swelled up from fluid retention. If it wasn't for my dad rushing me to the doctors,I'd have died for sure.
Oh,and a girl grabbed me by the balls and held on when I was a teenager. Now that fucking hurt.

 That sounds frightening! Do you have a scar? Scars are rad, though my mom trained me to hide mine with bangs as a kid, she told me I should never show it. I've worn bangs or "fringe" ever since.

No scar.I didn't have an operation, just a 5 week hospital stay,2 weeks of which I had to stay in bed. That drove me mad. They gave me water tablets to pee the fluid away.I wet the bed a few times.
I also watched an old guy have a heart attack and die while I was there. He looked so grey in the face when he was alive, you could tell his days were numbered.
And on a lighter note,I watched another old bloke's pyjama bottoms fall down on his way to the toilet.I'm not kidding you,he could have swung those nuts over his shoulder.

Probably a car crash in 2003. It was both physical and emotinal, although me and the others in the car only had to stay one night in hospital. No broken legs or other serious injuries. The contusion was painful though, I suffered for several weeks.
But the most frigtening part was the emotional part. It's no fun if you realize the driver loses control while driving at a German Autobahn with probably 130 km/h. The seconds before the crash felt like hours and you realize you're in great danger and can't do anything against.
On a positive note: You really value life after such an event, believe me.

Childbirth is pretty damn painful and emotionally it has to be when someone you love dies.

I wouldn't use the bed pan neither, the pee ones, yes, but the other? Ah ah,no way Pedro. And I'll wash my own bits, Matron, if you dont mind.
The best thing about that stay was the bath.It was ginormous,I could practically swim in it.Bliss.

Watching the swedish grammy awards right now. The production is perhaps the worst ever seen in the history of television. I hope it is a joke or else someone is giving us the middle finger right now.
