I would have thought love is 2 or more people, whereas PPP is 1 person's longing and plea which is unlikely to be answered by the object of affection.

First I heard it was a love ballad. It's not even a love song anyway.

Quite right, it's more of a yearning isn't it? To me it sounds like a deep yearning for someone or something that will never happen.

Some people are so shallow aren't they?
