Thank You to justme at AllYouNeedIsMorrissey.com (http://allyouneedismorrissey.com) for unearthing this on YouTube. And to hipsterdisco for posting it there.

If this is old news and you've seen it before then lucky you. If not, please enjoy ~

Jesus, Johnny's guitar on 'Reel Around The Fountain' beggars belief.

Hipsterdisco ripped it and uploaded it to his youtube account yesterday...
It's not new though, but I expect many people will not have seen this before.

Cheers anyway.

That's ACE!

Imagine paying £2.50 to see The Smiths http://www.passionsjustlikemine.com/live/smiths-g830629.htm

I'd be interested to know which version this is:

The latter half of "Handsome Devil", "Reel Around The Fountain", "Wonderful Woman" and "These Things Take Time" are available on video and DVD bootlegs. The footage is quite interesting (when the source is close to the original) as the band was filmed from very close, sometimes from the stage, very likely by some friend of the band. Unfortunately the sound quality is not that good. In 2009 someone put on the internet a file of the same footage, but with the audience recording mentioned above replacing the video's original bad audio.

What a wonderful clip. Moz looks beautiful. Weird to see Johnny rocking a quiff!

You'd better check the original youtube uploader before patting someone else's back, joe frady.

If you are handing out pats on the back Kewpie, then you should really offer one to Steve from Soundsville who taped and uploaded the footage to smithstorrents along with all the other wonderful 1985 and 1986 footage..

Also Waterisnat who reconfigured it with better audio..

Didn't everyone get the IM ~ provenance is sooo 20th century! ;)

It's the internet. Thievery rules OK?

So. But could I just take this opportunity to kindly thank Irregular Regular, Soundsville Steve, Waterisnat, Andrew Eldritch, Steven Morrissey, John Maher, the bloke who invented camcorders, Tim Berners-Lee, and anyone else who knows me.

Cheers.

ps ~ sheesh.
