I'm sure this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it when searching. What happened to the advertising (e.g. banner ads,etc.) on this site ?

There are some generic ads on some pages but not much interest from advertisers recently.

Maybe now some of the mayhem seems to have settled down ,things might pick up ... ?
