I downloaded the iPlayer stream of Glastonbury and pulled out the audio. It's in AAC format, which might be a bit funky for people, but that's how the BBC encode it.

I also have the full iPlayer video stream, which is great, but it's 640MB and my connection to smithstorrents seems to have just died.

Anyway, here's the original AAC version (40MB)...

...and here's a converted MP3 version (136MB).

Thanks for this. I have downloaded the video off the BBC website, does anyone know how I can stop it being automatically deleted in 7 days and burn it to a DVD or something?

I have downloaded it so that it won't expire. I'll try and post it later. I guess I could make a DVD.

If you have already downloaded it, it can't be deleted.

If you have already downloaded it, it can't be deleted.

It has some kind of DRM whereby it won't play after 7 days. All BBC programmes do it after 7 or 30 days.

Even the video file itself would be good, and I can burn it myself. Or just stick it on an external drive for a rainy day.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but listening to the first track it has jumps and skips through it at the start. And the Janice Long tracks are bizarrely muffled on the left hand channel. Any chance of a repair??? Thanks again. x

IGNORE THIS. WRONG THREAD! SORRY

I think you have the wrong thread. You are describing this one (http://www.morrissey-solo.com/threads/115687-Morrissey-Second-To-None-Glastonbury-2011). There's no skipping in this version.

It's 640MB, so too big for anything other than a torrent site unless you know better.

Thanks for this. I recorded the TV show on my video/DVD/Hard drive thingy but I will hardly ever watch it, so having the audio on my itunes is far more useful.

Cheers

Good to know! Would it be possible for you to upload your tv recording? I guess it's of better quality than the one taken from the website.
