I watched some clips of this last night on Youtube. It makes me angry because these songs are so good........why couldn't The Smiths have been huge like U2 was??.......argh.....their brillance just comes thru on these.

i wouldnt like that.

i think it's better how it is. if they were like U2, they probably would have sold out and be nothing like how they used to be. and can you really picture morrissey singing these songs at the age of 50?
