... but Morrissey played Caird Hall Dundee on 5th May 2009.

The Clash played Caird Hall Dundee 18th January 1980.

18th January 1980 is the date you arrive at if you add 20 years, 7 months and 27 days onto Morrissey's date of birth.

I know Rogan claimed Morrissey was at home reading The Murderers' Who's Who but, well...

God, I'm bored.

It is a rather bizarre connection to make. You've accidentally proven the truth of a flip remark Morrissey made years ago: "If I sang about breasts all the time, people would ask me about The Clash".

I'd considered this, too, but seem to remember Morrissey being a little underwhelmed by Joy Division but being fond of The Clash.

It's probably something a lot less interesting, though. Like the opening of a new Woolworths in Knutsford. :o
