At the end of January i will be there (Liverpool/Manchester) for 3 or 4 days.
Are there, any more , good indie record shops? I believe that at Manchester the , download-mp3-itunes-.... mania hasn't arrived yet...But what about Liverpol?

Manchester - Piccadilly Records on Oldham Street (just up from Afflecks Palace)
For second hand records (and memorabilia), we have Vinyl Revival on Thomas Street (round the corner from Picc Records) and Vinyl Exchange (diagonally opposite Picc Records)
There is also Crocodile Records on Paton Street (on side street next to The Brunswick pub, just down from Piccadilly station.
I'd also recommend Fopp Records, on Brown Street (which is the street off Market Street where Tesco is) purely as you can get CD's from £3, DVD's from £4 and books from £2:cool:

"Vinyl frontier" on bold St, Liverpool is worth a browse ( but the owners are Collectors too, so don't expect Too much....).
Skeleton records, Argyle street, Birkenhead..(..well, ya might as well go on the ferry 'cross the Mersey...) is a God-send if you like dusty rooms PACKED with old Vinyl.......hope that helps......( haven't been to "Probe" records in Liverpool for years....( Slater street area....) but it might just be worth a lookie too .....don't think they have "Old" stuff tho' nowadays....)
Happy huntin' !!!
