Canada is the poor slob's UK. I read somewhere that Morrissey was not too "Keen" on going there to tour, but he hadmortgage payments and then reconsidered and played there anyway. Some of his best shows took place in Canada anyway.

I wonder why he doesn't live in England. Is it the not all that attractive women or just the bad teeth on the general population.

...he doesn't live here because, as Britain is usually at least 10 years ahead of America in clothes/fashion and always ahead in music, his days of success here were over by the time you lot had heard of him (remember his first hit here was nearly 20 years ago)....and Morrissey's ego CANNOT take justified critiscism, bad press or flagging record sales.

So he's living in the land of career suicide, the country he always claimed to loathe with a passion, the culture he'd denigrate at any opportunity.

Well done, Stephen.

I believe it's the U.K. taxes and Social Health care that drove him away from the U.K.

Yanks use what is commonly known as 'lazy English' - hence the dropping of 'u's and usage of the letter 'z' instead of the correct 's'. It's a commonly known, saddening fact that the US education system lags miles behind ours - English, my yankee 'friend', IS ENGLISH. There is no alternative. Get over it. If you speak our language, at least learn to spell it, imbecile.

What you speak is regurgitated, second hand slang used by dullard southern farmers and your racist grandfathers. OK? Good.

And as for the boring life....err...wasn't it YOU who was picking up on people's usage of the English language? Scroll back, dear, your memory, along with your education, has failed you.

p.s..... if the only sex available would be from yourself, Wendy (apparently your availability is legendary in certain circles), well, I'm afraid I'd obviously rather bury a close relative than go within spitting distance of you, you gammy mare. But thanks for the one-eyed, gimpy, wide of the mark observation.

.my misguided, dated, deaf, tasteless little yank......

Britain, as always, is the centre for music - without question. No country has shaped the face of modern music like Britain - from the 60's through to present day, we have always lead the pack. The closest America came to competing was with Motown. A long time ago.

Our clothing designers lead the world of fashion - what London wears, Paris and Milan will soon be wearing. And america will follow on in maybe 3 - 5 years. Your designers are crass, loud, obvious and gauche. Like most Americans.

...and remember, why on earth would I waste time on an anti-american campaign on here? You lot do that for yourself - as I mentioned before, it's no wonder the world despises america when it's obviously full of puffed-up, laughable little yankee cretins like yourself.

Now, how's THAT for telling it like it is, twat?

Yes love, I know, but I guess Morrissey doens't share the same thoughts you have about him, since he is a little more than an Elvis impersonator, that lovely quiff, clothes, and let's not forget his DVD was suposed to be named I COULD HAVE BEEN ELVIS. If you can't apreciate Elvis, man, you no nothing about music. His delightful masculine voice, beautiful looks. Concerning his films, well love, they are shit in fact, as some of Moz videos.

Hey Russ, we are talking about the man who started everything, and who sang Marie's the name, You're the devil in disguise, I'm leaving, You'll never walk alone, etc...
